Terms of Service

Last updated 28 September 2026. These terms apply to Acadelyra, the independent Academic Writing Support brand and service available through Acadelyra.com. By sending an enquiry, accessing a quote, or accepting a quote, you agree to the parts of these terms that apply to that action.

Eligibility and service boundary

You must be at least 18 years old to use Acadelyra. Our six service families provide substantial academic writing, research, dissertation and thesis, editing, presentation, and referencing support. We do not knowingly complete all or a material part of assessed work that you must personally author and submit as your own. Use of the service remains subject to applicable law, your institution's rules, and our Academic Integrity Policy.

Enquiries, quotes, and the service agreement

An enquiry is non-binding and does not create an order or payment obligation. We review requests before quoting and may ask for clarification or decline a request. A quote is Acadelyra's offer for the exact scope, terms, deadline, total, and expiry shown in that quote. When you accept that exact quote version, you enter into a service agreement with Acadelyra on those terms.

Accepting a quote does not itself take payment or confirm that work has started. Acadelyra is not required to start work until any agreed payment has been received or we otherwise confirm commencement. If a quote conflicts with these general terms on scope, deadline, or price, the accepted quote controls that customer-specific point.

Your instructions and materials

You must provide accurate instructions; disclose relevant assessment, authorship, and institutional restrictions; and have the right to share all materials you provide. Do not give us passwords or institutional-account access. We may reject prohibited, unlawful, infringing, deceptive, malicious, disguised, malformed, or dangerous content.

Confidentiality and access

Acadelyra treats your identity, enquiries, academic materials, communications, and quote and service information as confidential. Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary to review and deliver the service, assure quality, handle revisions, or protect the service. We do not publicly disclose your identity or work. Information may be disclosed where reasonably needed to provide or secure the service, comply with law, protect rights or security, or act with your authorization, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Files, security, and availability

Where optional public-enquiry supporting-file intake is enabled, accepted files are stored privately in quarantine and are not exposed through a public storage URL. Automated malware scanning does not exist at this stage. Authorized Admin review may make a file available for operational use, but does not guarantee that a file is malware-free. File intake remains subject to applicable security, availability, retention, removal terms, and the Privacy Policy. Do not send academic files through general Contact or ordinary email.

Scope changes, delivery, revisions, and refunds

The service is limited to the accepted quote. New instructions, materials, or materially changed requirements may require separate review and a new quote. Delivery, revision, cancellation, and refund requests are assessed against the agreed service and our Refund & Revision Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Permitted use and academic outcomes

You may use deliverables only for lawful purposes permitted by the rules that apply to you. Acadelyra does not authorize false claims of authorship, prohibited submission, or other misuse. We do not guarantee grades, academic or professional outcomes, publication, acceptance, similarity scores, or AI-detection results.

Pausing or ending service

We may pause, decline, or end a service where information is incomplete, payment or cooperation is not provided as agreed, security is at risk, or the request conflicts with law, institutional requirements, these terms, or the Academic Integrity Policy. Any refund question will be handled under the Refund & Revision Policy and mandatory applicable law.

Applicable rules and resolving concerns

Acadelyra serves customers internationally. Mandatory local rights may apply and are not displaced by these terms. If you have a concern, first use the official Acadelyra support route so we can review the facts and seek a practical resolution.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms prospectively by publishing a revised date. The terms and policies identified in an accepted quote remain the basis of that service agreement, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Questions should be sent through the official support route for Acadelyra.com.
